2Unter dem Archon Kephisodoros; die Pandionis hatte die
3fünfte Prytanie inne; Archias S.d. Pythodoros aus dem Demos Alopeke
4war Sekretär; im Posideon, am sechszehnten, dem zweiund-
5zwanzigsten (Tag) der Prytanie; Haupt-Volksversammlung; von
6den Vorsitzenden leitete die Abstimmung Epameinon aus dem Demos - - -; Beschluss
7des Volkes; Euphiletos S.d. Euphiletos aus dem Demos - - - stellte den
8Antrag: da Euphron S.d. Adeas aus Sikyon stets ein guter Mann
9ist gegenüber dem Volk der Athener und gegenwärtig, gekommen
10vom Volk der Sikyonier, verkündet, dass die Stadt
11freund und verbündet ist - - -
12dem Volk der Athener als erste der Städte
13aus der Peloponnes, wolle beschließen das Volk: dass man belobige Eu-
14phron S.d. Adeas aus Sikyon wegen seiner Leistung und seines Wohlwollens
15gegenüber dem Volk der Athener und den anderen Verbündeten,
16und dass ihm die früher seitens des Volkes der Athener
17verliehenen Privilegien in Kraft sind; und dass, damit
18alle wissen, dass das Volk der Athener Dank
19abstattet seinen Wohltätern, der den Wohltaten angemessen
20ist, die ein jeder leisten wird für das Volk, er Athener
21sei, er selbst und die Nachkommen, und ihm das Recht sei,
22eingeschrieben zu werden in Phyle und Demos und Phratrie, die er will und
23die die Gesetze erlauben; dass man belobige auch das Volk
24der Sikyonier wegen seiner Leistung und seines Wohlwollens gegenüber dem
25Volk der Athener und bekränze mit goldenem Kranz
26von 1000 Drachmen (Wert) und ihn ausrufe an den Großen
27Dionysien beim Wettkampf; dass man den Beschluss aufzeichne auf steinerne
28Stelen und aufstelle die eine auf der Akropolis, die
29andere auf der Agora bei - - -; dass für
30die Aufzeichnung auf die Stelen der Schatzmeister des
31Volkes 50 (Dr.) gebe aus dem Dekret-Fonds

32   Das (folgende) von  Pamphilos S.d. Euphiletos: dass die Abstimmung
33im Volk über die Bürgerrechtsverleihung die Prytanen der
34Pandionis durchführen in der ersten Volksversammlung gemäß dem
35Gesetz.

2In the archonship of Kephisodoros (323/2), in the fifth
3prytany, of Pandionis, for which Archias son of Pythodoros of Alopeke
4was secretary. On the sixteenth of Posideon,
5the twenty-second of the prytany. Principal Assembly.
6Of the presiding committee Epameinon [of Erchia?] was putting to the vote. The People
7decided. Euphiletos son of Euphiletos of - proposed:
8since Euphron son of Adeas of Sikyon continues to be a good
9man concerning the Athenian People, and now having come from
10the Sikyonian People, reports that his city,
11being friendly and allied, - - -
12the Athenian People first of the cities
13in the Peloponnese, the People shall decide: to praise Euphron
14son of Adeas of Sikyon for his excellence and good will
15towards the Athenian People and the other allies,
16and the grants previously made by the Athenian People
17shall be valid for him; and so that
18everyone may know that the Athenian People renders
19thanks to its benefactors worthy of the benefactions
20which each of them has made to the People, he shall be
21an Athenian, himself and his descendants, and shall be permitted to be enrolled
22in the tribe and deme and phratry that he wishes, and
23which the laws stipulate; and to praise the Sikyonian People
24for its excellence and good will towards the
25Athenian People, and crown it with a gold crown
26of 1,000 drachmas; and to announce it at the competition
27of the Great [Dionysia]; and to inscribe the decree on stone
28stelai and stand one on the acropolis, and the
29other in the agora by the - - - ; and for
30inscribing the stelai the treasurer of the People
31shall give 50 drachmas from the People’s fund for expenditure on
32decrees.
II
32   The following by Pamphilos son of Euphiletos: the prytany
33of Pandionis shall put the vote to the People about the citizenship
34at the next Assembly, according to the
35law.
